Nonetheless, I was really happy to come across Jennifer Ladd's ultra-adorable shop of bags and wallets, and baby accessories. I love all the charming fabrics she uses for her items, and how well the prints go with the silhouettes of her bags and the functional shape of her baby booties.

Helis is dubbed by the owner as her "little farm and book shop", a whimsical description we frankly quite adore. The animal-themed jewellery and mini books with their illustrated covers don't disappoint either. Particularly interesting was the array of little animal wall-hangings (second row, left), a cute twist on traditional animal trophies, and we love the idea of a changing things up in an animal-friendly way.

What first enticed me to Kasaa's stationery was the knack with which patterned and multi-coloured papers were combined in a way that was cohesive yet visually stimulating at the same time. One signature style of Kathrin (the brain behind the work) seems to be the accordion-styled file, which she does with much aplomb.

Now I know this might not be exactly on point, but I'm quite excited at the moment, because Singapore is headed for its first table tennis medal! It's been 48 long years without an Olympic medal to its name and it was today on Friday that Singapore won South Korea is a nail-biting semi-finals match that lasted 3 and a half hours long. (and had me screaming my lungs out almost throughout too)

Taddie (the uber cute ping pong ball cozy available in many different colours from Tadworks) seems like a good strategy for the underdogs for this Sunday's finals against Goliath China. I quote "Taddie is sure to bring you and your team a good luck to win that crucial game by fooling your opponent with the irresisitable cuteness."

I just happened to stumble onto Yellow Owl Workshop's website and noticed that they had new limited edition stamp sets in store. And I'm glad I did! Each stamp set contains 5 stamps that can be used collectively to create a full landscape, or individually in any way you please. Stamping just got more creative on a whole new level. Alma Stoller has some fascinating zines that have been hand assembled and made up of mixed media collages. You can even find fabric and beads tucked in between the pages!

She also has various handicraft kits like the Mixed Media Oddities Kit (above) that contains an assortment of papers and beads. Great for class projects or for challenging yourself to craft something with only its contents.

Nifty little notebooks are an absolute essential to record thoughts and reminders, and are made especially appealing when they are made out of recycled materials - so it's practical and environmentally friendly too. The pages in these cute notebooks from Subu are made from discarded printer paper, so they may have images or words on one side. Sounds interesting to me to never know what you may find when you flip a page!

Cabin + cub has uber gorgeous art and stationery items, and I was hard-pressed to choose just a few to feature. Its goodies are created with techniques such as woodburning, collage and gocco. Being already broke, I am trying hard to fight the urge to add all these stuff to my cart so instead I'm spreading the love here by sharing this treasure trove with you (sigh).

Handmade from fleece and felt, these Mr Beardsley plushies resemble monkeys and come with their unique choice of disguise - one tug and the hat and beard come off! This is such a cute, refreshing idea, and I get so tickled every time I look at a poor Mr Beardsley looking rather vulnerable without its disguise. Lisa Hurwitz's prints available at her Etsy store are of her original oil paintings on linen and even wood. I personally find her depiction of human characters very endearing, with their especially round faces, wispy hair and wry smiles. You can check out more of her work over at her website.

The dress code for me these days is 'business attire' or 'office wear', and while it may be fun to dress up spiffily, I also miss the days when I could just throw on a cool tee shirt over jeans. Then Dogbone Art comes along and tempts me with its quirky and humourous hand screen printed tees (sigh). If you love the tee shirt designs but can't fit it into your more subdued dress code, worry not as there are also child sizes and toddle onesies that allows you to live vicariously through any children in your family. Alternatively, there are also attractive eco bags and plushies, among others.

If you fancy sewing as a hobby, cute handcrafted clay buttons from Kitty Robot, such as the sampling above, would make an excellent addition to your next sewing project. Alternatively, if you are not of the sewing inclination, these buttons may also be purchased without the holes, to be used for scrap booking and other crafty projects you may have in mind. (But really if you can sew, good for you! I imagine these would be superb for sprucing up old clothes that might otherwise be tossed out)

It was only previously that we featured monsters for plushies, and now it's time for forest animals! The Chestnut Farmer uses these creatures of lush woods as a common thread in his work, what with wearables, handy pouches and even large plushies along this theme. Particularly interesting are his range of Wood Wheely Action Figures, which he describes as half vehicle and half doll.
